Nakyanzi Deborah is a dedicated Science Educationist with a strong passion for environmental conservation, climate action and community transformation. She holds a Bachelor of Science with Education and has extensive experience in teaching Biology and Chemistry, equipping young people with scientific knowledge while fostering environmental awareness and responsible citizenship.
Her professional background in science education has enabled her to integrate environmental sustainability into education and promote practical solutions to ecological challenges. She believes education is a powerful tool for inspiring communities to protect natural resources, restore degraded ecosystems and build resilience against climate change.
As Co-Founder and Director of Novah Conservation Hub, Deborah provides strategic leadership in the design and implementation of conservation programmes, environmental research, climate change education, ecosystem restoration and institutional partnerships. Her vision is to nurture environmentally conscious communities that embrace innovation, stewardship and collective responsibility.
